• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date
  • Payment terms are stated on quotes & invoices and cannot be varied without prior approval from Optical Terminations.
  • If a customer fails to pay its invoice by the due date, then Optical Terminations reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to;
    – Charge the customer interest at the rate of 18% per annum on any overdue amounts from the time that the invoice was created; and
    – Pass onto the Customer any and all charges incurred by Optical Terminations as a result of seeking to recover the overdue amounts, be it charges incurred by a debt collector or lawyer or any other fees or charges incurred by Optical Terminations
  • Any delays that are caused by lack of access, client delays or changes in scheduling will be charged unless they can be re-scheduled early enough in advance.
  • Any agreed variations to quoted projects will be charged at the Optical Terminations’ rates.
  • There have been no allowances made for the supply and / or installation of any goods or services other than those specifically mentioned in any particular quote.  This includes but is not limited to: the Audio visual system, hearing loops or RF/TV cabling.
  • Unless explicitly stated a quoted price does not include any works involving concrete or bitumen cutting, removal or laying, or any trenching or conduit laying.
  • Unless explicitly stated a quoted price does not include any allowance for repairs that need to be made to any existing tray, conduits or other plant.  Should these repairs need to be made, they will be charged as a variation.
  • Ownership of all supplied product remains the property of Optical Terminations Pty Ltd until paid for in full
  • Any mediation during the project will be by an independent mediator provided through the National Electrical & Communications Association (NECA).
  • A quoted price makes no allowance for any costs or fees associated with any supply authority head works or similar e.g. Energy Australia, Telstra unless explicitly stated.
  • We make no allowance for any builders works associated with this contract.
  • We accept no liability for any special, indirect or consequential damages or loss, such as but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit or the like.
  • Any tender is submitted on the basis that all site messing, change and ablution facilities would be provided by others for the use of this company’s personnel.
  • We confirm that Optical Terminations have a current EBA in place agreed to by all parties
  • Any suppliers nominated in this tender submission to supply goods or services under the terms of the specification would be subject to said supplier acceptance if this company’s commercial and contractual conditions.
  • Retentions shall not apply unless specifically agreed to by Optical Terminations.
  • By accepting this quote the customer agrees to respect any and all intellectual property of Optical Terminations, including but not limited to processes, patents, systems and resources.
  • The client agrees that they will not approach any current or previous Optical Terminations staff member with a purpose of hiring or engaging them without first gaining permission from the Managing Director of Optical Terminations. This applies for 12 months after the said employee/contractor ceases employment/engagement with Optical Terminations.
